Due to COVID-19, the Equus Management offices are closed to the public, as instructed by Governor Sisolak. For that reason, we are having the Board of Directors Meetings via Zoom until further notice. Each month the Agenda will list the “Zoom meeting link”, the Meeting ID, and password. You will need all three login conditionals to enter the meeting. Once you are “in” the Zoom meeting, please announce yourself by name and then mute your microphone on your phone/computer/tablet. This helps alleviate background noise and confusion.
The Board will discuss monthly agenda items as usual and homeowners can only speak when the President asks if there are any comments in the two (2) Homeowner Forums, which are held at the beginning and at the end of the Board Meeting. At these two (2) times, you will have to announce yourself (by name) and when finished, please mute your phone/computer/tablet again. This is an unusual way to have the Board Meeting, so please be patient with us. If you have any questions please contact Lara directly or send your comment to the Board ahead of the meeting, by filling in the Member Comments form. This form is devoted to comments by unit owners concerning the Monthly Board of Directors Meeting and Agenda items. Please be brief and candid in your comments (Don’t be nasty!).
Any follow-up will be conducted by email between the homeowner, the MHOA Board, and Equus Management.
The 2020 Board Meeting dates are as follows:
- June 18, 2020, at 5:30 pm
- July 16, 2020, at 5:30 pm
- August 20, 2020, at 5:30 pm
- September 17, 2020, at 5:30 pm
- October 15, 2020, at 5:30 pm
- November 19, 2020, at 5:30 pm.
As you can imagine, holding a Zoom Board Meeting is not ideal, however, as long as homeowners and Board Members can hear each other and respond and answer questions, these types of meetings are allowed under NRS 116.
