Closure of Common Area Facilities. In response to the coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic, Governor Sisolak has issued several orders. In response to those orders and in accordance with the requirement of the closure of all nonessential businesses and public gathering places like sports courts, playgrounds, and libraries, the Board closed the Meadowridge Clubhouse and the sports courts/playground. Please observe the prohibition of more than 10 people and a distance of at least 6 feet whenever you are in the Common Area.
Meetings. The Board will cancel all non-essential meetings. All essential meetings will be conducted either by teleconference and/or videoconference. Directors may participate in a meeting through electronic communications, videoconferencing, teleconferencing or other available technology which allows the participants to communicate simultaneously or sequentially. Homeowners will be provided with the necessary information to participate as well. With respect to any agenda item you may have interest in, we encourage you to provide any comments in writing, if possible, to ensure your participation in upcoming meetings. We will, of course, continue to have the homeowner forums, but providing your comments in writing may enable you to better present your position.
Management. The Reno office of Camco, our management company, is currently closed to the public and all homeowners. Employees continue to work remotely. You should continue paying your monthly and reserve assessments as you always do – by mail, bill-pay, or electronic funds transfer. You may also contact our community manager, Andrea Klink, by email at andrea.klink@camconevada.com or by phone at 775-322-1400.
Payments. We understand the financial strains some of you are facing as a result of shutdowns of businesses, unemployment, etc., as a result of the pandemic. If you are unable to pay your full assessments as a result of the economic impacts of the pandemic, you must submit a written request for an interim payment arrangement for a deferral of assessments. Request forms are available from the manager, Andrea Klink. Please contact her via e-mail or regular mail and she will provide it to you.
As the COVID-19 pandemic plays out over the weeks and months ahead, we will do our best to keep up with developments and make sure that Meadowridge is well-managed and our amenities and financial health are kept in good condition.
All of us look forward to “getting back to normal” as and when that becomes possible. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in these very difficult times.
Sincerely,
Board of Directors
Meadowridge Association, Inc.
