The 2017 Annual Membership Meeting and Election

The Meadowridge Homeowners Annual Membership Meeting and Board of Director Election will be held on April 18, 2017. This year there are four (4) positions available. The positions will be staggered for either a 1 or 2-year term. If you are interested in participating on the Board, please download Form #850, print it and complete the statement, answer the disclosures, and sign the form. Then mail or fax the completed form to Western Nevada Management, Attn: Lara Knipmeyer Garrell, by March 28, 2017, NO LATER than at 5 pm Pacific Time. An annual information packet and agenda will be mailed at least 15 days before the meeting date. The board meetings are typically held on third Tuesday of each month. All Board members must be Members of the Association. This means you must either:

  1. Be a unit Owner of a property within the Community Association and your name appears on the Deed; or,
  2. Be an officer, employee, agent or director of a corporate owner of a unit, a trustee, or designated beneficiary of a trust that owns a unit, a partner of a partnership owns a unit, a member or manager of a limited liability company that owns a unit, and a fiduciary of an estate that owns a unit.

In accordance with NRS 116.31034, you may be asked to provide documentation to file proof in the records of the association of such Membership.

All Board Members must understand and accept their fiduciary duty to uphold the CC&R’s and enforce the governing documents without prejudice or bias. A basic understanding of the law (NRS 116) governing common interest communities is also required.  This is something an interested party can learn while serving on the Board.
