How does the Community Manager support the Board?

How does the Community Manager support the Board?

As the manager, I can be thought of as the middle of a spider web, and all actions, tasks, and communications are routed through me. These tasks are outlined in the Management Contract between the Association and Equus Management Group.

The laws that govern not only HOAs but also Board Members can be found in NRS116, NAC 116, and NAC 116A. As the manager, I am ultimately responsible for everything that happens in the community. This means not only keeping the Board in compliance with the many laws, but also the staff at Equus, and any contractors or vendors that the Association hires. However, everything does not include the safety of the residents as this is what law enforcement is for.

If you believe there is suspicious activity going on, please call the Reno Police Department immediately. For non-emergency issues, you can call ESI Patrol at (775) 786-1122.
